1. Who we are

2. How CashMate works

CashMate is an offline-first personal finance application. No account is required to use the app; all financial data is stored locally on your device by default unless you explicitly enable optional Encrypted Cloud Backup & Sync.

3. Information we collect

• Offline mode (default): Your accounts, transactions, budgets, and subscriptions stay exclusively on your device. We do not collect or access them.
• Optional Encrypted Cloud Backup & Sync: If you sign in with your email address via 6-digit verification code, your financial backup payload is encrypted client-side using AES-256 before being stored in your private cloud backup slot.

4. Data & Account Deletion

You have complete control over your data. At any time inside the app (Settings → Cloud Backup & Sync), you can use Delete Cloud & Local Data Permanently to wipe all cloud backups and local records, or Delete Account Permanently to permanently erase both your cloud backup data and your authentication account.

5. Advertising

We use Google AdMob to keep CashMate free. AdMob may use device identifiers for ad delivery in accordance with your device privacy settings.
